Library Haul ~ 25-4-2026 (Library #3)

Afternoon all!

Happy weekend, hope everyone is having a good time. Welcome to a new Library #3 haul!

I was so happy that I could visit the library again. I am still not entirely OK health-wise, but I needed some new books + the books I had had to go back or else.

First up of course the ground floor with the new releases for Adult/Non-Fiction. I quickly found one book I have had my eyes on for a while called Baren en Moorden by Sayaka Murata. I heard a lot about the book and I was so happy I found it here. I quickly found another 3 books and then it was onwards to upstairs to the children/ya/graphic novel/non-fiction bits. I didn’t find anything at the YA or Graphic Novel sections, but I did find one book at the Children’s section. After that I just went wild on Architecture (in the mood for that) and photography books. I picked up some big boys as you will see on the haul picture below! I am so happy that this library has such a rich collection of these kind of books, I always used to love them but just picked up the odd one here and there. Now I am just picking up as much as I can and it is fabulous.

I was at first a bit sad about one book as it gave an error message when I tried to borrow it. So I went to the service desk and they checked it for me. Apparently it was a book that was written off and no one removed it from the shelves. I thought I would never get to read it, but the woman at the desk said that she will sign it off and I could just have it! It is a book full of Chinese architecture and I am excited I got it!
