Library Haul ~ 30-4-2026 (Library #1)
Afternoon!

A happy welcome to a new Library #1 haul! Yesterday I managed to visit Library #1.
Yep, I say managed, because I haven’t had the best of weeks with shark week around and my perimeno making it so much worse. But I felt OK enough to hop on my bicycle and go, though afterwards I had to lie down on the bed for a bit. I was happy that my body cooperated enough for me to visit as I had 4 reservations waiting + I could use some fresh books in my life!
I really am happy with all the books I found. Once again, not many new books, but that is OK (though I hope they speed up with the additions of new releases as there are so many great books releasing that I would love to see at the library). But, I don’t mind hunting for books and I managed to find some great books, like an older Ilja Gort book which was finally added, plus the first book in a children’s book series that I really enjoyed the second book of.
And I may pop back in next week as I am still waiting on two reservations that I cannot cancel as they are en route to this branch of the library (though I always wonder why it takes days for them to get books from one location to another given that it is only like 10 minutes on bicycle between them).
What to read first from this pile? Mm, I think those two smaller non-fiction books, I really enjoyed Trucks from the same series.
