Review: Love Bullet, Vol.1

Love Bullet Vol.1 by Inee, girl with white hair (and a red streak) holding a gun and ready to shootSay hello to a new kind of cupid! Now with extra tension and battles!

💖 What if you had cupids but instead of bows they have guns. All sorts of them!
💖 What if cupids are girls who died and have never loved. Yes, that sounds terribly sad, but at the same time I also love that these girls who have never have had love can spread love, maybe even discovering love as they do this.
💖 That first story with the love triangle was just so much fun and I loved how it was resolved (though it was a bit overkill). It was a great way to start the manga, not start with an introduction, no throw us in the thick of it all and let the reader have fun! I loved the solution to the problem as well.
💖 Loved the backstory of Koharu + learning more about the cupids (what they are/how things work/what happens when she reaches a certain quota) + her first mission which was to help the one who was in love with her move on which I found sad and beautiful. It definitely made me cry in the end. It was a perfect mission for her to start with. Not the easiest, but it was very sweet. She was able to say her goodbyes.
💖 Fabulous art/character designs. Seriously, I just love the way the cupids are designed, their wings, their outfits.
💖 Bonus was adorable and I love how they all are rooting for Koharu! Then again, how can you not root for this girl?

😒 Didn’t like the fighting between the cupids, it felt unnecessary and weird. I get why they would go so far, everyone wants that second chance, but it just stood out and made things weird. I would have rather liked to see only one person being able to do the mission. Or a group. Plus, it seemed that those that tried to interfere/steal the mission were also super uncaring about the love parts, which is just painful. You are cupid for heaven’s sake you need to take this serious.

All in all, I am definitely invested and I want to read more of this series! I would recommend this one if you are looking for a fun new look at cupids!
