Blog Tour ~ The Go Away Rain Dance by Claire F. Lewis ~ Review
Hi all!

A very happy welcome to the Blog Tour for The Go Away Rain Dance by Claire F. Lewis! I just had to sign up + do a review because this one looked and sounded way too cute! I mean, look at that adorable little doggo in his little poncho! EEP!
First I got a review (★★★★ stars) and after that I got book/author information~
Review:
I received this one from the publisher/tour organiser in exchange of an honest review.
I just love a book about dogs and while I don’t want to do a go away rain dance because we had a hot week and I am actually enjoying the rain that is falling I was curious if this dog would be able to do a dance to make the rain at her place go away!
In this one we meet a little dog and the little flea who live in a small cottage in the forest. Our little dog, named Ziggy, was very excited about going to a new shiny playground nearby. But oh no, it is raining. It is storming. It is dreadful. But no worries! Ziggy knows a dance! And from that moment silliness takes over as more and more animals in the forest participates. Haha, I have to say I didn’t even notice that the animals were in groups of numbers. Only at the end and I was reading the questions/extra information I saw that they were in groups. I was so into the dance and seeing more animals pop out of the woods to participate that I didn’t see it. So this book is, next to getting the weather better, also a counting book. If you notice it, that is. XD
Back to dancing. Ziggy is totally into it and I just loved seeing the animals wear special outfits and get into it as well. Yup. That I noticed. We have boars in tutus, a DJ woodpecker, mice in groovy outfits. I loved seeing each of them do their bit of the dance and despite the rain worsening have the greatest of fun. Even if the sun doesn’t arrive these animals are grooving. I am not sure if I would be in the mood like these critters, I think the only time I would just continue dancing in the rain if it is after a hot week, like the one we had. Then I wouldn’t mind standing and dancing in the rain for a while.
Ernest was at times a fun character, but at times he got a bit on my nerves. He was just so negative + he acted a bit too huffy puffy. He came across like Jiminy Cricket to Pinocchio. But I am glad with what he did in the end + that he did really care for Ziggy.
And I loved seeing the playground, I would have loved to hop into the book and just swing along and slide and have fun with the forest friends~
I found the illustrations super cute, my favourite is how Ziggy looked, but Ernest’s expressions were also gold and made me laugh many a time.
All in all, I am happy I got the chance to read this book and I had fun! It was cute, adorable, and if it is a time I don’t want rain I may just grab my dog (hopefully by then dogs) and dance with them to stop the rain.

It’s playground day for Ziggi the dog, but it’s pouring with rain! Ernest, the flea who lives in Ziggi’s ear, is relieved – he’d rather stay at home with a nice cup of tea. But then Ziggi decides to try out her Go Away Rain Dance with all sorts of weird and wonderful animals. Poor Ernest…
