💖 Love that this was a hot spicy romance between a human (though not entirely given the swapping of sex/gender) and a shark/human.
💖 The romance was so good, seriously, from the moment these two meet in the woods and Tukiri saves Avel there is a spark. Chemistry. Everything. Plus, I always love a backstory on why Tukiri was so adamant on getting Avel. Apparently Tukiri and Avel know each other from childhood though Avel, due to circumstances, forgot about it. So I was totally shipping these two like mad and couldn’t wait until Avel remembered OR Tukiri told him. I loved seeing the two of them get closer with each new page and learn new things about the other. They had such a good and healthy relationship.
💖 The sex scenes were abundant but well done. They are sexy, spicy, hot. And also full of love, these two are so horny for each other (and I guess it helps that a little bit of blood makes them even more thirsty for the other).
💖 I also liked various other characters, like the close friend of Avel (who looked really feminine and was set to become the bride of the year).
💖 I loved the island, seeing it from the beaches to the dangerous jungles, to the villages. But also loved learning about the lore. From the shark clan on one side to the other side who send away their sons to become brides (I am still curious why that is, either I missed that in all my fangirl squeees or it wasn’t mentioned).
💖 Oh, oh, I love how in Tukiri’s village they don’t look at what you are (female or male) but look at your skills. If you are good at hunting then you are allowed to do it even if you are female. If you like weaving or making clothes and you are a guy that is also fine. I really loved that. Avel was so worried that he wouldn’t be allowed to hunt, because at his village the roles were very traditional. Women did women things. Men did men things.
💖 That one scene that Avel helped a merchant and how he treated that little girl, it was so precious and sweet. He really will make a good parent!
💖 The art! The cover! I really enjoyed the art style. I loved seeing Tukiri as human and half shark/half human. I loved the lushness of the island.

🤔 I should also really check my omegaverse stuff because our MC was constantly talking about how he was becoming a woman and I was taking that literally and kept wondering when he would grow boobs and lose his muscle and all that, but he just stayed a handsome buff big-dicked guy. XD

🙈 Also maybe me, but I definitely wondered how the heck TWO penises would fit in one butthole. I guess this is fantasy. That one time that he transformed in a shark while they were having sex and thus had two penises, I just went OUCH, because it seems so painful.
🙈 On that note, how did neither of them have trouble walking after that first sex-filled evening? I mean, generally in BL if one of the guys is a virgin it means the next day they are having trouble walking/sitting, haha, but Avel and Tukiri seemed absolutely fine!

🤣 I had a laugh though that the penises were glowsticks but the buttholes were in full view and all there. I found it silly that one is censored the other is not, plus, seeing a light stick go up just reminds me of that TikTok by a doctor on what not to stick in your butt/holes.

I am so happy I got the chance to read this one FINALLY! I have been eyeing it for a long time, was even considering buying it in German so I could read it, haha. So thank you for publishing this one!

I would recommend this book to everyone in need for a very spicy, sexy, mature BL manga!
