Grab a book, open to a random page (either by flipping through it, using a randomizer, or let my husband pick), and pick a part of the book that speaks to me (can be anywhere from 2 to 6 sentences), add a cover, done.

Edit: This used to be on Thursday, but I am changing it to Tuesday as it works better that way.
Teaser Tuesday ~ Win Lose Kill Die by Cynthia Murphy
Flipped through the book and landed on page 98 which really made me want to step into the book!Morton’s library is what I dreamed libraries should look like when I was a little kid: nothing like the shabby bookshelves at my underfunded primary school. All three facing walls are decorated with floor-to-ceiling windows. Each has a “reading nook” built in and they are punctuated throughout with bookshelves that soar up to the high celling. The ceiling is a work of art itself, all original beams and plaster ceiling roses. They even have those massive ladders on wheels so you can get to the books right at the top – I swear I will have my Beauty and the Beast moment before I leave.
Teaser Tuesday ~ Take Me Home With You When You Go by David Levithan, Jennifer Niven
I flipped through the book and ended up on page 96!Do you ever feel small? Like so small you could fit in your own pocket? Like as small as, I don’t know, a baby, back when you had someone to cut your food and fee it to you? I wish I had someone to do that right now. Or bring me ginger ale and crackers the way Sloane’s mom does when she has cramps or the flu, the way Mom never did, not even before Darren.
I feel so small, I wonder if I’m invisible. I feel as small as a flea.
Teaser Tuesday ~ Take Me Home Tonight by Morgan Matson
I flipped through the book and saw this part over at 209.“We’re doing a murder mystery night,” the guy explained to us as his monocle bounced out again. He’d opened the door a little wider, and I could see that there was a group of people, all dressed up, standing around in little clusters with drinks, and what appeared to be a dead body on the floor, lying in a pool of blood.
“That would explain the corpse,” Cary said, sounding relieved. He handed over the dry cleaning. “Laundry will be ready Monday.”
“Thanks so much.”
“Actually?” The corpse sat up and looked toward us. Someone had done what looked like a very realistic bullet hole in the center of her forehead. “Can you see if they have it by tomorrow?”
“I’ll ask,” Cary called.
She gave him a cheerful thumbs-up, then lay down again, her eyes going glassy and head lolling to the side.
Teaser Tuesday ~ The Gravity of Us by Phil Stamper
I flipped through the book and ended up at page 155.The dim light around us seems to gather and amplify in his eyes. I see the panic there, where I didn’t notice it before. He blinks twice and my body shudders. This time, it’s not for fear. It’s for… something else. I don’t know what it is, but I know I’ve never felt it before. My chest physically aches, and I actually feel that yearning for him, even though I have him right here.
“You look beautiful tonight.” A chuckle escapes his lips as he wipes the tears from his face. “I’ve never seen you like this – you’re usually so dressed up, even that time you helped with the community garden.”
Teaser Tuesday ~ The Boss Who Stole Christmas by Jana Aston
“I have one,” I announce, pulling out of his embrace. Nick watches, lounging back on the bed, one arm behind his head as I slide out his embrace and return with my Advent calendar, wiggling it in the air like a magician displaying their next trick before I punch through the door marked Dickmas. Retrieving the condom, I hold it up between two fingers with a look of triumph.
“Ta da!” I announce when Nick simply stares at me.
“Did you just procure a condom from an Advent Calendar?” he asks, his voice a little incredulous.
“Maybe?” I offer in response. “That’s not really important right now, is it?”
Was reading this lovely novella when I came across this one on page 39% and just LOVED it. Oliver, still grinning from something Laurel had said, lifted his eyes right into Ava’s. In that moment, with the memories of her happy childhood, and the promise of a wonderful Christmas Eve night bake-off with her mom and her sisters, Ava felt like she had truly come home. More importantly, she saw it clearly for the first time in years as she stared back at Oliver.
Teaser Tuesday ~ Genie and Teeny Make a Wish by Steven Lenton
I flipped through the pages and bumped onto this hilarious page 20. Your parents might have a favourite magic word too – “PLEASE”. Can you guess what Grant’s magic wishy word might be?
Well, I bet you’ll never guess.
Grant’s magic wishy word is…. ALAKA-BLAM-a-BUMWHISTLE!
YEs, Grant shouted ‘ALAKA-BLAM-a-BUMWHISTLE!’ in front of Queen Mizelda, and instead of creating a fancy-pants birthday cake Grant turned her into a birthday SNAKE instead.
Flipped through the book and ended up on page 299. Cannot WAIT to read this book after this teaser. *dances*The ghost train resumed its slow chug along the track, through a windowless tunnel that got colder the higher we climbed. Everyone had gone quiet; the shock of Will’s poisongin and the reality of our situation were sinking in. Behind me, Obediah and Theo clutched each other as we clattered through the darkenss the little girl’s eyes grew wide in the gloom , and she whimpered slightly.
Teaser Tuesday ~ The Great Dream Robbery by Greg James, Chris Smith
I was reading this one when I bumped against this fantastic quote, it is found on page 100.A slight movement caught her eye and she looked own in surprise to see a large black shape beside her in the brilliant white light. A furry, dishevelled shape. It was her cat, Bin Bag.
“What on earth are you doing here?” she asked out loud, without thinking.
“I was about to ask you the exact same question,” replied Bin Bag in exactly the sort of voice she’d always imagined he would have. It was deep, cultured and – there was no better word for it – rather catty.
“WHOAH,” said Maya in astonishment. “I can talk to cats!”
“Anyone can talk to cats.” Bin Bag sniffed dismissively.
“People talk to cats all the time. It’s getting cats to talk back to you that’s really impressive.”
Currently thinking of reading this one so I picked it for today’s TT. I flicked through the book and bumped onto this hilarious part on page 156/157. Gemma looks at the dresses. One’s a black spandex mini, the second is a pink leather playsuit and the third is a tight white lace dress, the low-cut back of which sits below the top of her bum.
A moment later she’s in the final dress, modelling it around the bedroom. “It’s called bum cleavage! It’s like boob cleavage, but on your butt! Don’t you love it?”
‘Darlin’, you would look class with a condom on your head,’ says Jackie. ‘Just make sure there’s enough stretch in that dress to pull a punch if you need to.’
