Madi it her lip as she composed her reply. It had grown increasingly difficult to keep all her fans happy. A year and a half ago, she’d had a group of twenty thousand steady followers, but in that last year her fan base had exploded. Legions of MadLibbers – from all parts of the world – waiting on her every post, their numbers increasing exponentially.
As you might have seen, my blog underwent a transformation!
I thought it was time for a bit of a change, my blog’s 3 year anniversary is coming (February!) + it is almost Christmas. My blog deserved something new and shiny. So after a few days of testing, trying, puzzling, wondering, thinking, creating, I finally had everything I wanted in one place. And just look at the results!
Thanks to my sweet boyfriend for helping me out, you are the best! hugs
And I hope everyone will enjoy this new, and beautiful, layout.
P.S: A fun little fact: The books in the banner are some of my favourite books and I would recommend all of them.
‘Makes sense.’ Ben paused. Then he started laughing helplessly.
I gave him a sidelong look. ‘What?’
‘My mother would be so offended right now. How dare I get attacked by zombies at her funeral? I should have had the decency to do it tomorrow.’
‘Technically, you’re not at the funeral anymore. The funeral ended when the last of the mourners went home.’
Ben shook his head. ‘Nope. I’m supposed to go home, eat casserole, and be sad.’
‘Oh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t know.’ I looked down at the zombies. ‘You hear that? You’re getting in the way of casserole!’
The zombies moaned. Ben laughed. We waited for the police to arrive.
All in all, just part of a day’s work.
The world isn’t so good with funerals anymore.
Deaths, sure; we have plenty of those. We can give you death in any shape or size you want. Good death, bad death, slow death, fast death – the modern world is the fucking amazon.com of dying. Maybe it wasn’t like that before the Rising hit and the dead started to walk, but hey, guess what: All that shit happened, and now we’re rats in the wreckage, living and dying in the aftermath of our parents’ mistakes.
My blog is now 2 years old! Hip hip Hooray! Congrats to my dear blog! You are now 2 years old, and you have grown so big, changed quite a bit, and made my life so much more fun (even though at times it is also a lot of work to make sure you are updated, to post something, but it is worth it).
I don’t only want to thank my blog, I also want to thank all my readers, all my visitors, all those who read my reviews, my meme-posts and anything else I have up on my blog! Thank you, thank you so so much. You are all amazing!
I am planning on a giveaway, but I am still looking at all the details and how such things work. If everything goes right it will be up in March, as a celebration for my blog. 🙂
Thanks again everyone! Here is to another year, another year filled with reviews, meme-posts and books, so many books!
