This won’t be a long review. For some reason I just can’t seem to put my feelings in words for this book, which sometimes happens for books. However, I still feel like I want to write something, so here goes. 🙂
Mom and I stood a safe distance from the upholstered chair of People’s magazine’s Most Beautiful Man of 1990-something in the living room of an opulent Hollywood Hills mansion. His in-need-of-some-manscaping feet were stuck in a mini-aquarium of hundreds of swarming fish and he jumped every time one took a nibble at a callus.

She’d had an audition that morning for a teen dramedy show, and I swear she seemed more desperate to land the role of Ditz #3 on Daylight Falls than she’d been to play Brad-freakin’-Pitt’s stepdaughter three years ago.
